This is literally the nicest hotel , the rooms was ready early so we could book in. The hotel itself was so clean and modern . The female reception staff in the daytime were absolutely lovely and professional, as we're the male staff in the evening, . Amazing people . The room was huge in main building, comfortable bed , great bath/ shower. Air con and a fan there were choices and it had everything you needed . A coffee maker despite having access to drinks in reception and water . Two pools one 16 plus yes this one was small , but it was perfect being quiet. but the hot tub was really hot like a hot tub should be. Open till 10 and a gym . The breakfast was perfect and the lovely female breakfast staff member who was so friendly and warm . This Hotel and it's staff are top quality. I really don't want to leave today .

Always clean and family friendly. Lots of traffic during the day, but most drivers and pedestrians are very courteous. Have never met anyone rude in town, visitors, workers, etc... And you MUST meet Zeus at the bowling alley next to Fun-O-Rama! Which by the way....is only 25-50 cents for most games!!

the shops are wonderful plenty of food places little trinket shops. bill and bobs is there. The arcade is great to win prizes for the kids. Animal kingdom is there. The parking is horrible during the dsy kiosk doesnt work have to use the app on the cell phone. Wild willy burgers great.Kittery has outlets a bit pricy but worth a look yummies candy store is awesome huge selection.

Long Sands Beach is much larger than Short Sands.

Long Sands Beach is much larger than Short Sands. Great to walk and swim Long Sands. The tide does come in and the beach room is much smaller. Short Sands Beach is too crowded due to its size but close to stores and restaurants. I prefer Long Sands.

York Beach is an amazing place to vacation.

York Beach is an amazing place to vacation. The people are friendly and easy to get along with. There are other people vacationing in York that might be a bit stressed on Saturday but for the most part things calm down and are very enjoyable the rest of the week. Do a little shopping... have some taffy... grab a cocktail or a coffee and watch the ocean. You have to eat lobster and it is best from the source. There are multiple locations you can visit with access to a peer and a pot of boiling water. You get the idea. Not everything is on the beach or beachside. Take a drive and adventure York Beach and surrounding area.

The bed was very comfortable.

The bed was very comfortable. Loved the balcony and the view. All the staff was very pleasant and helpful. There was a coffee shop right next door and the stairs to the beach were right across the street.

York Beach is a great place to stay!

York Beach is a great place to stay! In addition to Long Sands, where our motel was located, there are lots of convienent, affordable restauants. In addition, there are many attractions nearby, most reachable by walking. We stayed at the Cutty Sark motel, located right on Long Sands Beach. My wife and me were both extremely pleased with this motel. The motel is literally steps away from the ocean, which afforded fantastic views. The room was impeccably clean, the staff warm and friendly, and the price for our two night stay quite reasonable. In addition, we were literally steps away from the beach, local area restaurants and attractions. We highly recommend staying at this establishments. Frank and Donna Sanfilippo
