Juan, Rafael, and Karen were amazing hosts. The place was quaint and beautifully presented. They really cared about their guests and were keen to make sure that our stay was perfect. Juan cooked breakfast each morning, including home cooked bread, cakes, omlette, jams, and other savoury treats . There was an option to have a home cooked dinner. Karen is an amazing cook also. We enjoyed an authentic Brazilian dinner and had a bottle of Uruguayan red wine. Rafael is their 19 year old son, and he stays there during his summer break. His help and kindness were really appreciated. He speaks perfect English, as well as Spanish & Portuguese. He was always happy to talk with us and give us information about the area. Juan was also enthusiastic, and we managed to communicate with our limited Spanish and also with Rafaels help. They also provided deck chairs, beach umbrellas, and towels for our day on the beach.

This is a gorgeous place with a pool, and the rooms are so well connected if you are travelling with friends. The owner of the property was very kind with helping us ste up the bbq and even opening the pool early in the morning.
