    I came here to join a luxury yacht at the marina for a week. If I came again I would consider island-hopping by ferry and looking for private boat trips for snorkelling and so on. Canouan has the huge Sandy Lane Marina at one end, the even huger Mandarin resort at the other, with real life squeezed in the village in between. I preferred the low-key feel of the village, which has a couple of cheaper places to eat, the Coffee Shop and Sea Grapes (pizza) for example, if the street barbecue doesn't appeal. You can eat at Soho too without being a resident, book ahead - nice place but charges in USD and is not cheap.
