My friend and I spent an incredible two nights, with the amazing hosts, Lan and Thuan, and their family. Their hospitality was so warm and friendly from the beginning, welcoming us after our long bus ride and drive with open arms and warm tea. We enjoyed a delicious family dinner prepared by Lan and her Mum both nights. There was so much variety, the flavours were delicious, and all of the produce was locally sourced. Lan took us on an adventurous five hour hike to a nearby village, telling us about local ethnic groups, village life, different plants used for cooking and medicine, and introducing us to the local people. The guided hike wasn’t included but was fairly priced and definitely worth doing. Overall, we would highly recommend staying with Lan and Thuan at their homestay. They included us as part of their family and we could have easily stayed for many more nights if we hadn’t pre booked other accommodation. Although their village is slightly further from the main town, there are few tourists, and it is an authentic experience not to be missed!

Great location and wonderful view. You can feel that all of the facilities (i.e. restaurants, spa, swimming pool, cafe, and bar) were made with lots of thoughts put into them. Food, drinks, and services were all good.

We had a great time in Sapa staying here. The room was clean, warm & cosy and the staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. Before we arrived I messaged Huyen to ask for advice about getting from Hanoi airport to Sapa, I was expecting her to give some recommendations but she went above and beyond - asking what time our flight arrived and booking the bus for us all the way to Sapa. She even booked a taxi to pick us up off the bus and take us to the accommodation. The same was done when we returned to Hanoi and all we had to do was pay at the end of our stay. This made getting to and from Sapa so seamless and easy for us. While we were there we also organised a day of trekking with Huyen at the hotel. The guide met us at our hotel and led us through the small villages & rice fields which was great. Again, all we had to do was tell Huyen what we wanted to do and she organised it all. The two men who worked there were also great but I didn’t catch their names! We ordered dinner at the hotel after a long day of walking and it was fine and there were vegetarian options. Some of the previous reviews of the food were very critical but it’s worth noting you are in the mountains so food is there to serve a purpose and not the focus of what this hotel has to offer. We were here in January which is winter in Sapa but it was about 16C and sunny so perfect weather for walking. I can only imagine how beautiful the area is in the summer!

1. The family's owner were incredibly friendly and hospitality. 2. The facilitis were in line with the price. It was difinitely worthy 3. The spectacular mountain view overlooking through the window is the ultimate point for the homestay I really appreciate the family for having me in the together dinner. We got to the train station way to early so I suggested just renting a cheap room while waiting for the overnight train. Best decision ever, air conditioning, super clean and large comfortable beds, and a clean bathroom to freshen up before the long haul overnight to Hanoi. Exactly what we needed to burn 4 hours. But it didn't stop there the hospitality of the two lovely owners was just outstanding, and nothing was too much. They organised a gorgeous place for us to have dinner only around the corner. Cannot express what great value for money this was. Highly recommend this as a stop off. It's affordable but has everything you need. Thanks to the two owners, you both are amazing.
