Pristina is a decent enough city for a short stay.

Pristina is a decent enough city for a short stay. I would say that you only need about a day or maybe a day and a half to explore the city. The city does have a couple of highlights and it is fairly cheap. I would highly recommend that you also go to visit Prizren (also in Kosovo) if you are visiting Pristina. The city of Pristina is nice enough but it is the weakest of the Balkan capitals in my opinion.

The bus station is around 25-30 minutes walk to the centre, maybe a bit more depending on where you are staying. The centre itself is very walkable with lots of places to see and eat. Local buses are frequent and easy to find too. We really liked the relaxed atmosphere. Try and find Renaissance restaurant if you can. No menu - they feed you very well, with real top-notch food. Red and white wine included in the very reasonable price.

Overall the people are really friendly, traffic can be a bit challenging as soon as you leave the main routes, it´s cleaner than many places in Kosovo and I was quite amazed how much it changed for the better since I last was there in 2001! Worth a visit after all!

Pristina isn't yet a huge tourist destination but is a lively and friendly city. There aren't a great many "sights" in the city itself, but it's somewhere you go for the atmosphere above all. There are some great places to eat and drink - although it's worth looking around and going to where the Kosovans go! The bus station is a bit out of the centre, but there are regular services to places like Peja and Prizren (also worth a visit) as well as Tirana in Albania and Skopje in North Macedonia.

City has very good food with very affordable manner.

City has very good food with very affordable manner. City is quite small that you can complete it even in 2 days with absolutely doing everything you can do. After that, you will get bored. We were there for Sunny Hill Festival and the festival was an excellent experience with amazing performances. One that you can experience among Europe best.

Prishtina completely surprised me in the best way possible!

Prishtina completely surprised me in the best way possible! As the capital of Kosovo, it offers a unique mix of history, culture, and vibrant modern life. The city has a special energy youthful, dynamic, and full of character. Walking through the streets, you'll find a blend of old Ottoman influences, modern architecture, street art, cozy cafés, and friendly locals everywhere you go. The people are incredibly welcoming and proud of their heritage. Some highlights include the iconic Newborn Monument, the impressive National Library, the historic Mother Teresa Cathedral, and the bustling Germia Park. The nightlife is also fantastic full of music, food, and atmosphere. Prishtina may be small, but it leaves a big impression. Affordable, authentic, and full of heart it's a city you'll want to come back to. Highly recommended for curious travelers who enjoy culture, history, and connecting with locals.

The apartment is really beautiful, very spacious and well-equipped. It is located in a small house surrounded by massive blocks - really interesting. The location is great both if you want to explore Pristina and other places in Kosovo - the bus station is about 15-20 min walk away, and you can get connections to pretty much everywhere from there. Plenty of shops and eateries in the immediate neighbourhood. Great wi-fi - I had to do some work remotely and it worked perfectly.

The rooms were very clean, and I even had a sauna in my room, which I was surprisingly impressed with. It's very close to the city center, both for breakfast and transportation. There's a park at the bottom of the garden where you can enjoy breakfast and take a walk. It was the best hotel for the price and value. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I recommend it to anyone visiting Pristina.

Hotel was in quiet location, not far from the city centre and the is a beautiful former family home with lovely rooms. Nice pool & jacuzzi too. The family were very welcoming and very helpful in helping to make our stay in Kosovo a wonderful family holiday.
