An amazing experience to be surrounded by nature, with only the birds,buck, ostriches,giraffes and rhinos as neighbours. Chalet is comfortable and beautiful and the kitchen was excellent, has everything you may need (oil,salt,pepper,tea,coffee,water), you only have to bring food. Sitting by the fire in the evening was the best way to end the day. We also did the elephant walk (highly recommended!!) and the game drive. Both wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The owners were lovely - we really enjoyed the chats and stories. Highly recommend having a home-cooked meal when you stay it was delicious and so much attention to detail. We will definitely spend more time next time! Highly recommended also for families with small kids.

Such a beautiful historical building, that was the very reason we booked it and it didn’t disappoint us at all. It was so cool, the night we arrived there was a big rugby match inn on the bar & everyone was so cool with us as tourists that don’t speak Afrikaans. We had a wonderful time, the food at breakfast was also excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen.

Everything was perfect. From the quality of the rooms, great mattress in the chalet, lovely view, amazing food (half board), and absolutely outstanding staff who were clearly well trained and absolutely amazing!

Comfy place to rest and, as the sign says, to write. There’s a big library and a big garden, perfect to be inspired. The rooms are also comfy. The owner is so nice and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and so big.

Everybody did his best to make our stay unforgetable, and they were successful. We had great gamedrives, learned a lot about the animals and were as close as never in any other safari location. But what we loved most was the impression that the animals are treated with respect. The food and the ambience were perfectly fitting to the Environment. We have been here for sure not the last time. Wow, great experiance in many ways. The room is very private at the side of the building with great view on the mountains over the huge green yard. The interior Was stunning and made with love. Our Host Chris was very friendly and we enjoyed every conversation. The dogs on the property were really nice. Can fully recommend this place
