This is a true hidden gem! We felt completely at home and on vacation at the same time. The staff was incredibly friendly, the interior was absolutely stunning, and the whole place felt like another world. Thank you, Lorenzo and team, for making us feel so welcome! We loved the gardens and all the attention to detail in the rooms, it was such a cosy getaway. The shared bathroom was really beautiful and clean.😁My 11 month baby loved walking around the garden was such an adventure for her. The cutest little house dog visited her in the mornings making it extra special. Will definitely come back🙂

The owners and staff are always very friendly here and can’t do enough for you. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Bed is very comfortable. Nice sitting out area outside room. Best to have the dinner. The food is delicious.

    We chose the route via Caledon, to Chelsea Flowers at Stanford, rather than the usual route through Hermanus. Beautiful drive through valley from Caledon to Stanford. Best in Caledon was dinner at The Barn Restaurant ... don't judge a restaurant by it's front door!!! It's a gem: extensive menu, generous proportions, friendly service, quirky ice buckets! Shop for personal essentials was easy to find. Spa and Casino at Caledon Hotel were of no interest to us. Flowers weren't open on the overcast day.

    I was born and raised in Caledon and liked being back.

    I was born and raised in Caledon and liked being back. It was just as I remembered. The beautiful mountain views, the town surrounded by farmland is an experience in itself. It is a quiet town and close to other towns like Hermanus, Gansbaai, Grabouw etc. I would recommend staying in Caledon as well as a visit to the Caledon Spa with its natural hot spring.

    When you drive into Caledon you think you are just driving...

    When you drive into Caledon you think you are just driving into a working farming village (which it also is) but it also has so much more to offer. Its a great stop when driving from cape town to the garden route, close to hemel and aarde valley and to hermanus. The town itself has beautiful botanic gardens, a big spa and casino, you can do quadriding and also worlds longest zipline is there! We loved our stay at the Caledon Grace Guesthouse- a wonderful Victorian home from the 1850's- in lush gardens where we could really relax after all this roadtripping.

    Very nice room with beautiful view.

    Very nice room with beautiful view. The hot pools were lovely, but the upper ones not very well marked. I had Sunday lunch in the restaurant, and breakfast also there and both meals were very good. The dining room is spacious with a lovely view.

    We went on our honeymoon, and we are still raving about that...

    We went on our honeymoon, and we are still raving about that breakfast ... the sauna and steam rooms are my very favourite and there's a gym!!!! My new favourite place to visit. We took a walk down to the little shopping mall every day and enjoyed that exercise too. The venue is amazing, and you will enjoy every minute.

    Caledon Spa was great.

    Caledon Spa was great. Awesome breakfast variety and overall good stay. Recommended a few minor additions for room such as USB input for chargers and heating rail in bathroom for swimming towels to dry.

    The cottage we stayed in was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Like a home away from home. The location is also great. It is in close proximity to the mall and the Caledon Hotel and Spa, where we needed to be. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and were readily available whenever we needed anything.

    We enjoyed the rock pools and the swimming pool. No loadshedding in the hotel rooms. The breakfast was so delicious and so much food. We absolute enjoy it. Every employee was friendly.
