Beautiful location. Such a nice spot for winter and summer. When we arrived on a very cold evening, the fireplace were started for us. 2 comfortable and decently sized bedrooms with on suites and a nice braai on the patio. It was a lovely stay.

This place is amazing! Terry, the host, is so friendly and she created the most stunning guesthouse. It's cosy and stylish. Easygoing and comfortable. If you go here (which you should when going to Barrydale!) book at least 2 nights or longer. Barrydale is an interesting little down with many hidden gems to discover and Terry created a place where you at the same time can slow down and enjoy The Karoo.

Lovely cottage with everything needed for our overnight stay in Barrydale. The cottage is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. So many wonderful ideas, clearly set up by people who know what customers/tenants need and like.

Beautiful garden and terrace stoep, ideal location just off the main street and restaurants, lovely Karoo-style decoration with so much attention to detail and... a delicious glass of port from Janine to welcome visitors! (Incredible value for money too.)

A most enjoyable German breakfast delightfully prepared and presented in the serene surrounds of Uwe's garden. The rooms, are detailed in particular themes. We stayed in the Asian room, which is top class ! A delightful and knowledgeable host who made us feel at home in a wonderful establishment.

The interior design of the cottage is superb and very tasteful. Beautiful garden and walking distance to nice cafes and restaurants. Definitely need a stopover at Diesel&crème.

To be honest, we had fairly low expectations of the property. However, it was perfect for us - both the house and its huge garden were lovely.
