We really appreciated the warm welcome from Sean and his detailed walkthrough of the apartment and its amenities. This was one of our best experiences on booking! The host is the most welcoming, friendly and helpful person we have met so far. The room was spotless, comfy and well equipped. The location was perfect (very close to Spar and small restaurants). We highly recommend staying here!

Harrismith is a very very cold place in, winter.

Harrismith is a very very cold place in, winter. Whilst the location and everything in the cottage was excellent, we could not enjoy the stay due to the cold and no heaters. If it's specified that there will be no heaters in winter and no fans in summer, then either we carry our own heaters or fans, or look for, alternate accommodation. The roads in Harrismith are terrible.

Harrismith is a lovely town to stop off in, the people are...

Harrismith is a lovely town to stop off in, the people are very friendly. We were close enough to the restaurants, accross the highway, and we had a great meal at Spur. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from. Sadly there are plenty of potholes in the roads.

On the positive side, Harrismith is close to the Drakensberg...

On the positive side, Harrismith is close to the Drakensberg, Midlands and other scenic routes. The only negative aspect is the municipality's total neglect of the roads. It is very sad to see Harrismith deteriorating like this.

Horrible experience owners are terribly rude, shouted at me and we're arrogant when complaining about promised facilities that were not working. Food disgusting even the staff agreed. Would definitely not recommend this place because the owners don't care about customers not do they care to provide any facilities that were not working that is advertised.

Harrismith was beautiful and wish I could've stayed longer...

Harrismith was beautiful and wish I could've stayed longer but it was more an over night stay as we were coming from Durban making our way to Johannesburg. Love the scene and nature feel of it all and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Harrismith is a small town and halfway from Johannesburg to Durban. Not much to do, but a very nice relaxing out of the way place. For back pack travellers it could be a fantastic spot if you want 5 star accommodation.

We had a breakdown nearby, and the room was immediately available and ready when we booked. We checked in in 2 hours after booking, which was absolutely convienent. The hotel was extremely clean and pleasant. The view was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room had loads of space and a TV. It's a lovely place to get away in peace and quiet.

Okay firstly the booking process was super easy and fast. Finding the hotel was a walk in the park. The reception by Ms B Selepe was very warm. That lady is a gem. Treasure her. The rooms, linen and towels were spotless. Thank housekeeping for me. Your restaurant staff was amazing. They speak softly to each other I loved it.

The owner graciously accommodated our late check-in as we were heading to Harrismith for the night—both professional and courteous. Each room was equipped with small alarms, enhancing our sense of security. The underfloor heating effectively kept the winter chill at bay and the room were beautifully designed.
