Anné-Lize is one of the best hostesses we’ve ever had and her husband, Neels, is a wizard on the braai (the dinner and breakfast are fantastic - a must-do if staying here!). Everything was perfect. The welcoming of Cherryl when we arrived was great even though we were to late. The appartement was above our expectations. The peace and quiet at the buckhouse and heidelberg. Cherryl gave us tips for places to visit, restaurants , ... Everything we needed to know any questions she always had the answer. And she was great with the kids also. Cherryl and her husband are really the most friendly hosts we ever met

Everything was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend if you are looking to get away and enjoy some piece in nature. We stayed for 4 nights and that still was not enough to enjoy everything the place had to offer.

We had an exceptional evening together We loved the outside shower The prices reflect the age of the building but, the service of the owner is outstanding.

Breathtaking views to valleys and mountains!! The most orderly and clean farm we have ever seen! Cows and baby cows, sheep and singing birds.. We got satisfactory answers to all our questions and needs. Breakfast was very good (on demand). We could access our lodge and park privately. Very spacious area.. We loved it!!!!!!!!

The location is just perfect and when you drive down to the accommodation, the views are amazing. Our stay was perfect, and they upgraded our room. Our chalet was big and beautiful with views of the dam/river. The rooms are very pretty and the beds super comfortable. The indoor fireplace was a bonus. Our stay was just too short, but will be back!
