    place was stunning, however when i booked was noted we had...

    place was stunning, however when i booked was noted we had to vacate the place between 8-12am, we had cleaning staff demanding we leave at 9.30 so they can clean as new tenants arrive at 2.. we were intending to leave at 10, they could not wait and insisted to invade our space. very unnecessary as the cabin was kept as we found it. i think the maids must understand we are the paying customer not them. bit of a spoiler. the host michelle was very attentive and gracious. thank you michelle for the response on the call out too😉 to brian and verner can see you have a close family and have had wonderful times have memories... luv that.

    The accommodation was awesome, the reception super friendly...

    The accommodation was awesome, the reception super friendly and informative. The view was unequaled. It was a most memorable stay. The meals at Dutton's Cove were amazing. So glad that we chose Herold's Bay as a destination and Ozone Apartments as our host. The hike to the cross and the view from there was breathtaking. We were even blessed to see well over 300 dolphins in 2 consecutive days and 2 whales. Will definitely re-visit.

    VERY GOOD ,BUT THE LOCAL SHOP HAS NOT MUCH TO OFFER. LOW ON STOCK AND THE BREAD WERE OLD.ON SUNDAY THE PLACE WERE PACKED AND SOME VISITORS HAD FIGHTS OVER PARKING SPACE.AS THERE IS NO DEMARCATED PARKING SPACE FOR VISITORS STAYING OVER ,SO IT WAS A BATTLE IF YOU LEFT YOUR PARKING SPACE AND RETURN AND COULD NOT FIND PARKING.

    Herolds Bay is a gem of a destination.

    Herolds Bay is a gem of a destination. A little hamlet hidden in the garden route. It is small and tucked away with a beautiful beach and tidal pool with little Rock pools along the way for children to explore. It is a great destination to just get away and explore with the kids or to just relax.

    The beach is a must, the restaurant at Dutton Cove is almost “a star” restaurant not only because of the menu , the cook, the people who serve and the place where it is situated but also you can come as you are! The beautiful trails you can walk are a real nice thing to do!

    We initially planned to stay here for just one night, but the stunning beauty of the hotel and its location quickly convinced us to extend our stay. Sandra and her team went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience, making this one of our favourite stays in South Africa. Sandra is an exceptional host, and her warmth and hospitality alone are reason enough for us to return - though the flawless facilities certainly make it even more worthwhile.

    Beautiful views from the roof balcony over Heroldsbaai. The establishment has everything you need for a night's or longer's stay. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. It is a light and airy apartment, within walking distance from the beach.

    The location is on the beach and you really cannot get any closer. The braai room in Jan se Plek is amazing. Heroldsbaai is well kept and clean.
