Eden Boutique was an oasis, impressively set against the background of other domestic and industrial properties. I don't think I've come across another property that is so clean, and this didn't stop staff from further cleaning. Decor is impressive, with finishing at the accommodation to a high standard, quality painting and tiling across all surfaces. The rooms were spacious, and comfortable beds and well functioning AC ensured a good night's sleep. There's ample parking with sufficient security measures and security conscious staff. This accommodation can only get better with the installation of a hot tub in its own designated area externally. The most refreshing and pleasing element was the genuine friendliness and helpfulness of staff.

The staff very professional and friendly; the rooms modern with large bathrooms and the best beds during our travel; a relaxing late sunny afternoon near the pool; your are immediate on the N2 = great on your way to Durban or Drakensberge - the highlight: delicious, freshly made sandwiches as part of our packed early breakfast. Everything was extremely good. Host is more than helpful. We had a long trip for the day. When we got at Lindela House, the host helped us with everything, and we had the best time. Preparing our snacks and drinks, she even moved a table for us outside to enjoy the garden view while eating. Next morning we left at 4 o clock and she was up and saying good buy to us.

Kokstad has become a little run down since I was there in...

Kokstad has become a little run down since I was there in the early 1990''s but there seems to be a concerted effort in reviving the local industry. I was a little sceptical in finding car parking on the main streets but the new mall areas had lots of parking avaliable that seemed safer. There were also car guards avalaible - many of whom begged for food in addtion to a monetary tip. The surrounding area of Kokstad is still as beautful and scenic as I remember and typical of a South African mountain town.

The location is perfect, but the water issue is such a turn...

The location is perfect, but the water issue is such a turn off. We were told that the same thing happened in December 2021 and people ended up leaving before their departure date, demanding their money back. Such an establishment cannot compromise on the water and ablution system. Plan B should be there for such unfortunate incidents.

Anathi Accommodation in Kokstad was good for me as I slept enroute to Durban. The Staff was very friendly and Professional. The bed was big and the place very neat inside the rooms and in the outside Areas

It's a very busy, rural commuting town - I didn't feel...

It's a very busy, rural commuting town - I didn't feel completely safe. Not great place to park a loaded vehicle. I liked the fact that it served as a convenient pitstop on our route from KZN to the Eastern Cape.

When we hadn't arrived after 17h00 we received a call from the hotel ahead of our arrival to check on our ETA. That was nice. Staff was friendly and check in quick. The rooms are clean and comfortable (for me it was a second stay and I was in a different room but the quality of experience was the same). Location on the edge of town means it's distant from noise but not too far to drive, especially when you arrive late like we did.

It was absolutely perfect for our needs, and they made a plan for us to have a very late check in because we were on a road trip and it took a lot longer than we thought it would due to road works, so we decided to stop in Kokstad at the last minute, and this was the perfect place to do that! Such comfortable beds and pillows, wonderful shower and very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and there was free parking.
