This was my second visit to the Lodge. I enjoyed it the first time (a couple of years ago) but, if anything, it was even better this time round. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and extremely good value. The pool was lovely (actually, there seem to be three of them!) The evening meal (a la carte) was delicious, the bar was lovely and the breakfast (included in the accommodation fee) was amazing: a buffet with a massive choice of fresh and cooked ingredients, juice, cereal, tea and coffee. I went for a short walk in the evening and immediately encountered two giraffes and a kudu cow, and then, two minutes later a pair of bushbuck. There was plenty of spoor around too - notably that of zebra (which I saw on my last trip), and the frog and bird calls were lovely. Vervet monkeys come into the accommodation area so you'll almost certainly see these on your visit. Added to all this, the staff were great!

The room was spacious and very beautiful. We loved the fire place and comfortable large bed. Sitting outside on the stoep with a forest view was incredible. We could stay in the room.all day. Really beautiful and romantic

I really enjoyed my stay at the Legacy Hotel&Spa...The service was definitely 10/10. The restaurant has top tier meals. Best hotel in tzaneen so far. Definitely highly recommend.
