We had an exceptional stay at Ploughman's Rest! It was our first time to South Africa and Daleen welcomed us as if we were family. It was great to have not only two rooms but a kitchen, living area and a porch to relax as well. Daleen was very helpful in providing tips and information to help make our stay really special. We also took the option to have an evening meal which was fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend Ploughman's Rest.

We loved the beautiful garden and the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinner was simple but very tasty.

We stayed here on our way to the Kruger. Very easy to find and in a lovely quiet area. This is not like staying at a B&B, it's like staying with friends. Very warm and welcoming, you're looked after extremely well. Food was really really good, it exceeded our expectations. The rooms have everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended - I'll stay here again if I'm on this route

The people are super friendly and helpful. We had a flat tyre and they took all the hassle with the rental company on them and we received an exchange the next day. The food was excellent with a good variety for Europeans who are not so used to SA food.

The hotel is located in the nature area, it’s very calm and peaceful. The staff is friendly, the room is spotless. There is a braai zone just outside the room so you can cook for yourself. The location is very convenient if you want to visit the canyon Blyde, it’s just 20 km to the viewpoint Three rondavels. And the cutest thing in the place is the host’s dog, a female Lea. She went to us in the morning to say “Hello”
