United KingdomEverything about the place is memorable and we cannot get enough of. The reception by Phumi and Lindokuhle was warm, friendly and informative excellent service from the entrance. Our room 206 was clean and smelt fresh, our bathroom felt like it had not been used by anyone before. The two guys from the ZIPLINE;Simphiwe and Sibusiso are proffessionals, from the gearing up,tutor instructions up to the last landing platform. They took us step by step and were very careful. Before the Zipline we went for Quads by a very patient young man Phumlani. He also took us through the process first before gearing us up and did not rush us through the trails the 2hrs felt very little. After the day was done we got to relax at the Raptors bar with Mcebo who has a thing with cocktails. Every order we made came out exceptional. We definitely going back. Almost forgot the kitchen!!!! the waiiters were sooo attentive. The chef himself came out to ask us about his creations... Perfect every time.

there was very little that impressed me and certainly not...
there was very little that impressed me and certainly not value for money.
roads to the resort are terrible with many potholes .
weekend buffet was really good but a la carte for the rest of the week is mediocre with some items not available.
the complete resort needs a revamp .
no effort is made to entertain guests
hot pools were really good but there should have been refreshments available nearby ( 300m ) to get a cooldrink.

Unfortunately, the roads to Gooderson Natal Spa are terrible...
Unfortunately, the roads to Gooderson Natal Spa are terrible, potholes all along the route forcing the trip to be much longer than expected. Do not travel on these roads with cars with lowered suspension and definitely stay off these roads after dusk or in rainy conditions. For the amount of time spent travelling from Jhb to Paulpietersburg, we could have driven to Durban in less time and with far better road conditions. Thankfully we do not have small children as this would have a been an even longer road trip!

Excellent resort. Spa was fantastic. Ladies wete welcomming. Hot water pools are clean and spotless. Falcon bloc could do with aircons in the bedrooms. The roads leading to the resort and in KZN are 😔.

Food horrible especially at night, the chef doesn’t know what he is doing.
The restaurant manager is disrespectful
The rooms are old and very dated
They were leaking and air conditioners were not working.
WiFi isn’t enough for the day.
The roads going to the place are TERRIBLE!

Roads have a lot of potholes, can easily damage your car.
Roads have a lot of potholes, can easily damage your car. Nearest town is 15km away, in case you need to purchase anything. The main road in Paulpietersburg was barricaded with stones, have to drive on dust/gravel portion. The ressort is well worth the travel and time. Enjoyed my stay.

The resort is accommodating friends and families as they have superb rooms with clean bathrooms and enough towels. There is hot spring water that can keep children warm and the swimming pools are the best.

The natural pool was amazing. Plenty of activities. Staff is friendly and helpful (Shout out to Patrick, Adriaan, Ryno, MC and Nelly... Always up for assistance and chats). Hotel is clean and comfortable... They are busy with improvements, yet it is completely non-disturbing. Chef Andries took care of great breakfasts and dinners. Good value

The hotel is set in a beautiful valley and the sound of the river resonates through out the property. There are a lot of activities to do on the property. The beds are really comfortable and the rooms are clean. The hotel has an old school vibe. Classic and vintage. The waiters at the restaurant were excellent.
