We were slightly put off when we arrived as the property in located a short distance down a dirt road but we shouldn’t have worried as the property is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean. Complimentary filtered water daily. The staff are incredible from the cleaners, handymen, cooks and reception. Special mention to Elizabeth on reception who’s constant cheerfulness and laughter was refreshing. Had breakfast and dinner at the property on 4 nights with some wine and the bill was just over £100. Special requests for dinner taken and accommodated wherever possible. Ermine drive to Sun City and the Pilansbeg national park

The place is beautiful,very clean,very safe,close to Sun City,the beds are comfortable and clean,the host is very friendly ,professional and accommodating ,spacious,home away from home,I brought some meat and they braai for me (at an additional cost of course)they washed my car (also at a cost) I had all in the same yard,shisanyama and car wash and beautiful accommodation,wish my kids and I stayed for long but I’m definitely taking my friends there and very soon,the place is more beautiful than the pictures,wooooow me being a regular traveler who doesn’t get satisfied easily,this place took my breath away and I’m extremely impressed ,please keep it up guys👌👌👌

We loved everything about Bophirima Boutique hotel, the place exceeded our expectations, the hotel is breath taking,the staff was wonderful, Merriam and the rest of the staff where very helpful and never got tired helping us,they made sure everything was within our reach,Bra Willy! He was so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. I'd recomend Bophirima for a couple retreat,👌I'm definitely going back there with my family.

The room was fine. Our biggest issue was that we were so looking forward to a good country breakfast and it was a complete disaster. The fried eggs looked as if a steam roller had squashed them and were burnt, the pork sausage was raw and the potatoes were hard and not cooked. Then asked for a soft boiled egg.....2 eggs were delivered in a silver gravy boat as no egg cups available. Egg was hard boiled. For a 5 star rating this was a very poor show and totally unacceptable.

There is a nightclub next door and its super noisy, it sounded like they have a speaker in my room playing Kwaito and yelling over a microphone the whole night so don't go there if you are planning on sleeping at all. Also don't expect any signal and in my case any wifi. Limited DSTV channels. I ordered breakfast the day before for 7:30, when I got there they haven't even started with it so I skipped breakfast all together. Staff are friendly and the rooms are neat but the location is horrible.

The accomodation was very good and very clean and the courtesy of staff was great, Food was so bad I can't even explain, both breakfast and supper, atleast the cereals were better I would recommend to bring your food when visiting the place.

Where the hotel is situated, it is perfect for those who are looking to be away from the City Busy Life. It for those who are looking to have a more intimate and quiet getaway. If you are looking to have a more relaxed, quiet and romantic getaway then the place is for you. What I loved about the hotel itself is that you didn’t need to go to town to have a meal or a drink, it caters for everything. I would recommend if you book Hotel Marang, rather travel during the day as the place is isolated. I would not advice travelling late, as it looked a bit unsafe on the way there…

Overall our stay was very good. Rooms are very comfortable and staff are very welcome and friendly. However not to be rated a 5 star hotel. Too many things not working or offered , lacking attention to detail. For a 4start hotel is GREAT but not for a 5star hotel

Modern and beautiful hotel, well maintained, beautiful external surroundings, good restaurant, magnificent outdoor pool, comfortable bed, easily accessible to game drives and only a 20-minute drive to the Sun City Resort. The hotel complex is also beautiful, including an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and a gym. If you feel like taking a walk, the distance to the gate is nice and long and would make for a great walk. It really is a beautiful place!

We were checked into a filthy hotel room…dusty, smelly room with no lights in the front of the room. Ants all over the floor. The blind in the room looked like they were cleaned many moons back. We had to check out immediately and drive around looking for alternative accommodation. It was a huge disappointment!

It was a unique country hotel experience offering pleasant forrested surroundings teaming with small buck and excellent bird life. The numerous museum displays depicting early South African history are exceptional. The swimming pool and lawned gardens surrounded by indigenous trees were delightful.

The hotel presents itself very well. The staff welcomed us very nicely and the room and garden where to enjoy breakfast were of high quality. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Also a spa and a pool are available on the premises.
