Absolutely beautiful place! Richard and Dee are such nice and welcoming people, they did everything to make us feel at home away from home. The rooms are spacious, have all the amenities you could need and the decoration is really nice. Breakfast is really good! The only regret that we have about our roadtrip in South-Africa is that we only stayed 1 night at Cycads On Sea... :) Beautiful guesthouse, highly recommended!

The location is absolutely perfect! Close to the shops, restaurants and then of course the beach - with your own private walkway to the beach. The staff were outstanding; service was phenomenal, friendly and most helpful. A special thanks to Vuyo, Patience and Ameen - you treated us like royalty, thank you so much. In addition to having breakfast there, we also had dinner at their restaurant one evening, which was the best dinner we had on our 1-week trip. The food was delicious, fresh, and the view just made it extra special. Our room was amazing and made up specially for us every day with extra love. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

What a beautiful new Guesthouse!! Beautifully decorated - fresh clean with friendly staff. We were treated by friendly staff and Riana was always willing to assist with everything. From the minute we got there the setup was professional, easy WiFi access - ideas on what to do on the app, restaurants just anything you could think off at your fingertips. Thank you Bella Madre for one of my best weekends ever - can't wait be back

I loved that the eatery places were close and convenient.

I loved that the eatery places were close and convenient. We walked around the beach and harbour - loved the views. Only complain was some guests noisy late at night and early mornings, but otherwise happy and will for sure return to visit again

More of an upscale Florida-style residential community than a tourist destination, but the sandy beaches along the estuary are beautiful. With the lighthouse inexplicably closed, Seal Point - desolate and windwept - was a disappointment. Standout restaurant for the evening was Chokkablock. It's popular and you do need to book. We were able to reserve a table by email. For a relaxed lunch head to the excellent Coastal Collective cafe. The Superspar supermarket has everything you need for supplies.

An epic place worth the 20 minutes diversion from the N2 Highway. Best kept secret is staying at the Ships Bell apartments overlooking the harbour - it's almost like being in Europe just with better food and value for money - you can stay a week for what you might be paying for 2 days in Europre for the experience, hospitality and food.

St. Francis Bay is the ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts with the Village Centre being central and the restaurants are reasonably priced. The locals are super friendly and St. Francis Bay is the type of destination you want to visit again and again whether with your partner, family or friends.

The beautiful houses, nearby shopping center, the beautiful lakes and beaches, very peaceful and quiet location which is ideal for a time out from busy everyday life. There is a number of classy restaurants with delicious food.

We ate at Mauros restaurant and the food was really good but the place that blew our minds for the service, food and atmosphere was the Rambling Rose. They went out of their way to help and with me being vegan ..... went the extra mile to accommodate me. The setting of the restaurant was also beautiful and relaxing. The roads, except for the main road are in very poor shape and made driving around unpleasant .... not sure if I would be in a hurry to go back .... which is sad because we used to spend all our holidays there when our children were younger .... early eighties to early nineties.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this grand old house on the canals. We were blown away by the abundance of space and counted 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, even though we only used 5 of them. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of utensils, crockery and cutlery and fridges were found on all levels of the house. The location was perfect and the views were to die for. We will be back.

Amazing location overlooking the ocean at St Francis Bay. The ground floor suite was well-appointed with a super comfortable bed. Falling asleep hearing the ocean was a delight. Breakfast was excellent, and service was brilliant. Highly recommend staying here .

The decor of the apartment is stunning, the location is perfect, walking distance from the beach (with private entrance) and walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants and tennis club. St Francis bay is a beautiful relax town. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
