We loved our stay so much, that we decide to cancel our next hotel - losing the money - and adding an extra night at Chateau de Marine. The location is amazing: if you like the outdoors, there is plenty to do around, or just relax and enjoy the ocean. The hotel facilities and rooms are very comfortable, and the family room is amazing. The difficult part is to drag your kids out of the room: bunkbeds, toys, Nintendo. The staff is amazing, helpful and extremely welcoming. The breakfast is simple (not basic), tasty and with just the right variety.

We loved everything about the apartment. It is fully equipped and even has a barbecue for guests to use, and it is literally on the beach. There is a small table with sea view on the backside. The host was very friendly, and had left water, a bottle of wine and a load of freshly baked bread for us. This was one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in!

Excellent accommodation and hostess. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and very cozy. Every detail reflects the love that has been put into this space. It has an incredible view and is very well located. The hostess was very kind and attentive to each of our needs. It was a special place to rest on our way through the Garden Route, which is why we decided to extend our stay. We recommend it to all travelers who pass through Cabo de las Agujas.

Super friendly staff and people. Vanesa was so helpfull as she provide us with many information and recommendations about places to visit all arround. The place was icredible, so colourfull and very well decorated. It has many little details and original and inspirational phrases all arround. In the room you can find everything you need. We had a great stay!

Easy access to Cape Agulhas with a 5 minute drive which...

Easy access to Cape Agulhas with a 5 minute drive which enables visits to the lighthouse, the southernmost tip of Africa, the shipwreck and an enjoyable hiking trail. The beach at Struisbaai is amazing and reputed to be one of the longest in the Southern Hemisphere. Miles of pristine sand made for a very enjoyable walk and then returning to the very active harbour to sit and watch the fishing boats come and go, Grab a milkshake or beer at the Harbour Cafe and sit and watch the world go by!!! Very relaxing.

Struisbaai is a wonderful place to stay, it is small and has all the facilities one could need, restaurants, shopping, chemist etc. I loved the harbour, and being a photographer this is a wonderful place to stay. It also has beautiful beaches and lots of places to walk, I felt safe at all times.

The shops is very close to our destination, lots of places to eat, we had break fast at the Old cape restaurant on the Main road, The air is very clean and healthy to breath in, and its very easy to get around Struisbaai, up to Cape Agulhas points, via the main road.

Struisbai is one of my favorite places to visit every year.i love that it is not overcrowded and the kindness of the locals. My children are safe and I feel at ease for them to take walks on their own. Our favorite spot is the Harbour.

Struisbaai has the essence of providing a well for filled vacation. The serenity that surrounds the town meets the clear turquoise ocean with its soft white beach sand allows one to smile and appreciate the simplicity of beauty. To have a few wild stingrays swimming everyday very close to shore was a great sighting. Our time didnt allow us to sample a few restuarants but the ones we did try were amazing. This was our 1st time in Struisbaai and it was a beautiful experience, Yes our time was very short so i cant wait to experience a longer stay. But i'm pretty sure Struisbaai wont disappoint.

It’s a nice quaint holiday seaside town.

It’s a nice quaint holiday seaside town. Nice and peaceful, serene. The beach areas are lovely. At the harbour you get a a close up experience with the stingrays. Only problem is there are very few places (literally only 2) that cater for halaal if you don’t just want to eat fish. Not much to do I the area, go to Agulhas for that, which is very close.

A really special experience. Many thanks to Gil and the whole team who made our stay so special and gave us a warm welcome. We really felt at home. The location of the hotel is excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, it was very clean, the beds are very comfortable and it was very quiet. The breakfast was lovingly prepared, varied and plentiful, the coffee was delicious. There was really nothing missing. We will definitely be back. Many thanks to the whole team who made this wonderful stay possible.

We had an amazing stay, the room is beautiful and has everything that you need! We stayed only for 1 night but we would love to have stayed longer. We also had breakfast and it was very good. Owners are super friendly and welcoming. They also gave us a list with recommendations for restaurants, we really appreciated that. Our stay at Cliff Haven has been amazing. We had a studio with stunning ocean views. The owner and staff are very welcoming and happy to provide recommendations for the area. The studio is super clean and well equipped. This has been one of the best guesthouses we have stayed in South Africa.
