If you are traveling to Struisbaai, and I don't see why you would not, the Chateau de Marine hotel is a perfect place to stay. The staff will do everything to make you feel the most comfortable you can ever be. The breakfast is delicious, the service very personal and sweet. The general manager is a fantastic woman, and she will make you feel at home in a heartbeat. The rooms are spacious and clean. We will be back!

The stayed at Cliff Heaven for two nights and it was the right decision. Everything was perfect - very nice room with a wonderful sea view, complementary food and drinks, which were enough for our breakfast in the next morning . We loved the location- very quiet, close to the sea, as well as to the sight seeings and restaurants. We highly recommend this place.

We love the vibe of the room. Everything was so clean and the bed was comfy. Chilling in the balcony was nice too. Carol and Gert were great hosts. They gave lots of information and their communication was good. And they have the cutest dog in the world, we hardly keep ourself not to took him in the room at night :) The breakfast was exceptional. I had the Suncatcher breakfast and my wife had continental, their vegetarian touch to continental breakfast was a plus too

Glaudine the host was exceptional. Told us about all the attractions in the area as well as the good food restaurants. She is a lovely person, very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great. One of our most interesting and beautiful locations on our Road Trip! Such an amazing experience, we have returned here after 8y and its still amazing as it was! But what really set this accommodation apart was the hospitality of the staff. They were extremely friendly, welcoming, and communicative throughout our stay. They were always available to answer any questions we had and made sure that we had everything we needed to feel at home. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, child-friendly, and hospitable place to stay. Thank you Thunderbolt ;)

Struisbaai is a wonderful place to stay, it is small and has all the facilities one could need, restaurants, shopping, chemist etc. I loved the harbour, and being a photographer this is a wonderful place to stay. It also has beautiful beaches and lots of places to walk, I felt safe at all times.

The shops is very close to our destination, lots of places...

The shops is very close to our destination, lots of places to eat, we had break fast at the Old cape restaurant on the Main road, The air is very clean and healthy to breath in, and its very easy to get around Struisbaai, up to Cape Agulhas points, via the main road.

Struisbai is one of my favorite places to visit every year.i love that it is not overcrowded and the kindness of the locals. My children are safe and I feel at ease for them to take walks on their own. Our favorite spot is the Harbour.

Struisbaai has the essence of providing a well for filled vacation. The serenity that surrounds the town meets the clear turquoise ocean with its soft white beach sand allows one to smile and appreciate the simplicity of beauty. To have a few wild stingrays swimming everyday very close to shore was a great sighting. Our time didnt allow us to sample a few restuarants but the ones we did try were amazing. This was our 1st time in Struisbaai and it was a beautiful experience, Yes our time was very short so i cant wait to experience a longer stay. But i'm pretty sure Struisbaai wont disappoint.

It’s a nice quaint holiday seaside town.

It’s a nice quaint holiday seaside town. Nice and peaceful, serene. The beach areas are lovely. At the harbour you get a a close up experience with the stingrays. Only problem is there are very few places (literally only 2) that cater for halaal if you don’t just want to eat fish. Not much to do I the area, go to Agulhas for that, which is very close.

Everyone is very friendly, crime free and also very near to Cape Agulhas which is well worth a visit to see the southern most point of Africa. Gavin's Forterrai (?) is well worth a visit,mgreat Italian food.

We had an amazing stay, the room is beautiful and has everything that you need! We stayed only for 1 night but we would love to have stayed longer. We also had breakfast and it was very good. Owners are super friendly and welcoming. They also gave us a list with recommendations for restaurants, we really appreciated that. The sun catcher is very close to struisbaai beach and to southern tip of Africa. Thank you again :) Best regards from Oliwia 🇪🇸 and Julian 🇨🇭

I had a flawless stay at Mermaid Guest House. The hotel is in a quiet and safe area. The room had all advertised amenities and the staff had excellent travel advice for the local area. WiFi was strong. I have no complaints and look forward to staying here again.

Welcoming owners live downstairs so available to advise if necessary, superb views from the braai balcony and windows, very well equipped for self catering, comfortable beds, many treats for guests, garage parking, close to Struisbaai beach and Cape Aghulhas.

The Staff is very friendly and the location very convenient and safe. The hotel was clean and the bed comfortable. If this was a guest house or the price was a bit lower than the value for money would have been acceptable.
