Sunshine Cottage is a lovely place to stay in the area of Fish Hoek, and I would definitely recommend it. Very clean, comfortable, private, and spacious enough for two people. Great facilities and within walking distance to the beach. The place is quiet and has a supermarket (Spar) not far from. Private parking and excellent wifi. Comfortable bed and a great shower! Enjoyed the coffee, milk, and the biscuits that the hosts left for us too :-)

The view is absolutely stunning, and from room 2 you have the sunrise visible from your bed! The terrace allows great evening relax time with the sound of the waves. The rooms are tidy, very clean and there is everything you need and more. The cleaning service is 5 star as well. Parking is on the street with plenty of space. I strongly recommend this solution when you are in the area.

Very spacious and well equipped property with absolutely everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. Exceptionally clean with great facilities. Beautiful views from the garden which includes benches and a dining table to sit and enjoy. We were able to park our car in the garage which was brilliant and provided us with peace of mind. Willie was kind and helpful. Would whole heartedly recommend this place.

What I liked most is the on suite toilet the tranquility of the place, the neatness and the comfortable bed. What I did not like was the fact that there was very little space for our food and drinks., maybe just to invest a small freezer or get another fridge., but otherwise place is awesome.

Fish Hoek is quite a busy town with several supermarkets to pick up groceries; Woolworths is excellent. And the town is nicely located on the coast for easy access to both east and west coast resorts - and Cape of Good hope, too. Excellent coast path enables you to walk to other beaches - my wife and I walked to Muizenberg, a very enjoyable stretch!

Great place for a short holiday.

Great place for a short holiday. Very central and easy access to the beach. Great beach for swimming, and exploring tidal pools. Great for walking and hanging out. Many lovely small coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance from the beach. Feels very safe and clean when walking around town and streets.

The place is clean ,well equipped and decorated.host was friendly,loved the beach view and the fact that it's located next to the restaurants and other stores. The spar is Available inside , and other things that would make your stay worth while. Loved the tranquility, the place exceeded my expectations,would love to make reservations again.💯

Fish Hoek and rest of the Southern Peninsula have spectacular views. Facing the bay you have the ocean and to your back you have the mountain. Sunrise at the beach is a beautiful sight - The sand is white and the beach is perfect for long walks. Spent a lot of driving and sight-seeing around the Peninsula. So many places of interest in and around Fish Hoek and easily accessible. 2 Days was not enough to discover and explore all the hidden gems. Navigation via GPS is recommended as the layout of the streets in Fish Hoek can be a bit confusing.

A good base to sample the surrounding areas of Kalk Bay, St James & Muizenberg which have cool bars, shops & restaurants. Nothing much in the way of bars etc in Fish Hoek itself & not touristy at all. However, if looking for a quiet beach & a couple of restaurants then it’s ideal.

Our stay at Casa a Capri was exceptional. We stayed there with 4 adults and 3 children, and the house had everything we could have wished for. Big luxurious rooms, enough space for everyone. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location is perfect, we took several trips in the surroundings, to Capetown, to the beach, for hiking and winetasting. The hosts were very kind, they provided plenty of information, communication was very smooth, and they even sent some clothes that we had forgotten. A big thank you, we had a wonderful stay!

Inside it's quiet - a serene atmosphere despite the bustle outside, dècor is very modern and neat, the common room was well equipped and a good space to briefly interact with others, the spa (although small) is quite worth the spend, immediate area is a bit downtrodden; but definitely easy access and close proximity to shops/restaurants and surrounding towns. It's a bit like a very upmarket hostel/backpackers with all the comfort of a hotel.

Had a a wonderful stay there for the second time and would choose again. Very peaceful location with beautiful view, nice and clean rooms, always very attentive staff. The safest beach in Cape Town just a short walk away.
