The parking attendant directed us to our parking spot, we switched off the engine, stepped out of the car, looked towards the ocean and.... saw whales, whales and whales. The proximity to the cliffs of these majestic mammals was just spectacular. The Marine is perfectly located and we spent a lot of time sitting on our balcony 'whale gazing'. Enough about whales. The Marine breathes quality and class. We truly enjoyed our high ceiling room with comfortable seating area and bed. The bar and restaurant offer high quality drinks and food in a very relaxing atmosphere. All members of staff were very friendly. When we return to Hermanus, we will certainly come back to The Marine.

Breakfast very well presented. When we arrived we asked if they can make us a platter. the kitchen was closed and staff on there way home. They turned back, made us a huge cheese and meat platter. unbelievable service.
