BelgiumTortuga is a very special spot just outside the city of Sao Felipe. The rooms are basic and ok. John, the new owner is a very friendly and helpfull person always ready to answer your question. He helped us to find a airplane ticket and assisted us to the airport.

Treasured the breathtaking expansive black sand beach surrounded by mountains and basically having it to ourselves. Peacefulness. Roberto (and his cute dogs) are attentive hosts. He proudly provided a fine dining experience. This was a very natural experience in the outdoor bungalow, beach and tropical grounds compared to the large chain resorts that we normally stay at. Loved the very memorable two days there and great overall value.
