Location was great! albeit rather remote but thats not really a bad thing as it was really quiet and serene. We knew about the sauna but didn't realise that the bath was also using onsen water so it was a nice surprise.

Really amazing house and location. We didn't walk to the nearby onsen town, but it is walkable (a bit of a hill), and there are many walking trails around the house. This house has a fence for dogs but we didn't travel with pets and found it made a great yard for our kids to play. The onsen bath in the house is great and there is plenty of space.

EXTRA !!! So in love with this rental, great location (so quiet) beautiful Onsen and scenery. Staff is welcoming and very nice BBQ was optional but a great choice to make I will always come back when I come to Kyushu, please consider doing the same

Excellent place, the container was heated when I came which was very nice. Everything very confortable and clean. The owner came to ask if I needed a little bathtub for my baby for the onsen which I thought was very kind. The onsen was wonderful with the snow falling.
