Excellent location, super clean, fully equipped, Tony and his wife are helpful with every detail whenever you need anything regarding your stay or other activities. We felt truly comfortable with our 5 year old. Igloos are small by nature but not to worry because the main house is fully equipped, very clean and comfortable. Definitely would recommend and would like to come back for sure.

We absolutely loved everything about this cabin. It is located next to a frozen lake with easy access for walking and wild rain deer watching. The owner is very responsive, incredibly helpful and discrete. The decoration and the ambient is so cosy and warm. But the main highlight are of course the windows facing north where you can watch aurora directly from your bad. Incredible and unforgettable.

Mikael, Cecilia, Chiara and BRUNO are awesome. They have created an incredible place with a lot of magic surrounding. The views on the lake from the bed are priceless and feeling the nature so close just makes somebody disconnect easily from the world and feel as if you are in wonderland. This place is perfect if you want a quiet location with Alttajärvi lake on one side and the woods and hill on the other side. We enjoyed the winter walks along the trails and walking on the lake! The location is perfect to spot northern lights and being close to IRF you can use the Aurora Alert on IRF Aurora App. Even when cloudy in Kiruna, Alttajärvi had clear sky with amazing star display of the milky way. Not much light pollution here!! Kiruna is only 15 mins away by car. The house has what you need for a few days. Washing machine has a 15min program and things dry easily over night on radiators or the clothes airer. Sheets and towels are provided. The fireplace is an extra plus! You can buy wood at petrol stations! Husky tours you will found everywhere! The mine is worth a visit! Northern light chase is for people without a car, you just need to step outside when nature decide to put on a display. Abisko has clearer nightsky so the probability to see it increases if you take yourself there.

The location was perfect and the view to the lake was amazing. It was close to the city and the airport. The bed was very comfortable and modern with elevation that you can adjust and watch the nice view of the lake from your bed. The owners Cecilia and Mikael where very nice and helpful with everything we needed. We loved it and sure we will be back.
