My stay there was amazing. May and her family are extremely kind and generous. The room was really big and comfortable and I loved all the small details and the toiletries offered. The location is perfect if you don’t want to be in the noisy busy old quarter (15 mins drive) and walking distance to nice cafes and bars in the Tay Ho Neighborhood. I would highly recommend this place!

I really enjoyed my experience at DFour Ngo Gach – Old Quarter. The apartment is lovely, decorated in a minimalist but sophisticated boutique style, every corner is very neat and clean. The photos online are beautiful but when you get there, it's even more beautiful, it feels like you're in a small studio in the heart of the old town. The location couldn't be better - just outside there are cafes, restaurants, walking streets and night markets. Although it's in a small alley, it's not noisy at all, in the morning you can hear people selling goods, in the evening it's quiet, very "Hanoi". The host is friendly, texting quickly, giving detailed instructions on how to check in and also suggesting good places to eat around the area. I will definitely come back to DFour again when I come to Hanoi! 💛

Owner and co is very responsive, helped how to check in easily. Place is very very spacious, the room in the pic is newly renovated, different from the other 2 rooms, 2 rooms at the 3rd floor and another at the 4th, the 2nd and 3rd room is very large and cool, veranda on the 4th floor as well, also have a working water dispenser. Very close to a 7-11 and that really helps as there are very few 7-11 stores in the area, very close to the lake as well to chill. Also close to HK bus lines office which I recommend if you're planning to go someplace else like Sa Pa. Also have shampoo and body wash along with towels so great stay all in all. Really lives up to the review on TikTok as well, very satisfied for an overnight stay well worth your budget

The location is absolutely amazing! I couldn’t believe the apartment is just 2-3 steps away from restaurants, barbecue spots, and bars all on the same street. While the street outside is bustling and lively, the apartment itself is incredibly quiet. The perfect place if you are traveling with a lot of people as there are plenty of bed rooms. The host was very friendly, accommodating and met our needs even late in the evening. The apartment was clean and very comfortably furnished. Towels, hygiene products and detergent were provided. It has a beautiful terrace on the rooftop with a clear view of the surrounding area. There is also a protected outdoor area with a whirlpool and the possibility of hanging up laundry without fear of it flying away. The location is perfect. It's just a few minutes' walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and there are numerous restaurants and activities in immediate vicinity. You can also get a list of recommendations from the host, saving you a lot of additional research. Please note that there are many stairs, very common for Vietnamese houses. You can also expect the typical Hanoi noise and market smells. It didn't bother me at all because that's the charm of the city. I am completely satisfied with the apartment, I had a wonderful time there and could imagine to coming back in the future.
