never wrote a review in my life but what an amazing stay! hospitality was better then the hotels i usually stay in. bathroom and bed where clean and spacious. the family is so nice and helpful even though there was a language barrier, cause i don’t speak german lol, we still communicated. breakfast was the highlight of the stay in my opinion. they prepare so much food that it will leave you full throughout the day. and let’s not forget that it was delicious as well. the animals were a good addition to my holiday as well because the made me feel like i’m still at home in some way.

This is a beautiful little cabin with stunning views. It was near to Appenzell and Gais. There’s a bit of a walk steep and upwards after you park up, only a minute or so, but just make sure you bring good shoes. Our children loved it, especially the sheep. Highly recommended

Everything a traveller requires was already in place and the host probably is an interior designer, we have not seen such great aesthetics and practical arrangement in a home. Tucked away from the town but at a walkable distance. This is a great home to stay in.

We (2 adults + 2 teen kids) have stayed at this lovely holiday home surrounded by beautiful landscape, which is also well cared for and equipped with everything you could have thought of. Land lady was very kind and has served us a dinner upon request. Since many restaurants in the area were closed including hers during the festive season, she did us a big favour to supply the dinner at the comfort of the house we are staying, despite she was having the holiday shutdown to enjoy the family. Area is so beautiful surrounded by beautiful scenery. We could see the snow-covered meadow from our window which was absolutely priceless. It was such a magical atmosphere. During our shorty stay, we often saw the people trekking by just outside our holiday home as well. Also, communication was great too. Owner speaks English is great plus. I highly recommend this place to anyone. It is really rare to find. Do not miss it. You will never regret it. Thank you so much for the unforgettable stay. It was a truly magical experience for us.

Super house with its own style and place, it has small kitchen and separate childrens' room, it has antimosquit net at the window and heater. The toilettes is in front of the house, it's clean and comfortable. The owner is very positive and friendly, people around are polite. We do like this place for staying.

Very lovely place! Lots of different animals, nice breakfast, and overall feeling of being at farm. Staff is very friendly, and the farm is in general just nice. It feels like the breakfast alone just pays off the money spend given the costs of a similar breakfast in the city.
