Un grand merci pour l’accueil !!! Nous avons été chouchouté du début à la fin, avec le dîner et le petit déjeuner offert ( c’était delieux 😋 ) Grande salle de bain avec tout le nécessaire. On a était récupérer depuis l’aéroport, déposé jusqu’à la muraille le matin, il se sont occuper de nous prendre les billets pour la murailles. Puis ils sont revenu nous récupérer à la muraille pour nous déposer jusqu’à l’aéroport. Ils sont très au petit soin et très réactif par message. Encore merci à eux pour cet accueil

We were extremely happy with our decision to stay at this lovely family-run accommodation. The hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful. We were welcomed with warm smiles and a basket of fresh fruit, and on the day of our departure—when we were running a little late—they even offered us a free ride to the bus station. Such genuine kindness truly made our stay special. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, cozy, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The beds were very sturdy and comfortable. The whole place has a peaceful family-home atmosphere, and it’s clear that the owners take great pride in keeping everything clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The property is set in a quiet little village with a couple of nice family-run restaurants just a short walk away. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Beijing Wtown and the bus station along a quiet paved path by the river. The walk is lovely, with beautiful nature views, and there’s even a small riverside park with towers and sculptures that light up beautifully in the evenings—great for photos. If you prefer not to walk, there are plenty of Didi drivers available at any time, and the ride to the accommodation costs only 10–14 RMB. For travelers coming from Beijing, I highly recommend taking the direct bus, which costs 48 RMB per person and takes around two hours to reach the Water Town Bus Station (cash only). The bus leaves from Dongzhimen Outer Bus Station (东直门外) at 09:00 and 13:00, and returns from Water Town at 12:00 and 17:00. Just wait beside the brown signboard that lists all departure times. Beijing Wtown itself is absolutely stunning—full of canals, traditional architecture, small cafés, restaurants, and even boat rides that glide through the waterways, making the whole place feel like a fairytale village. In the evening, when the lights come on, the scenery becomes truly magical. At 20:40 there is a drone show with the illuminated Great Wall in the background, which is unforgettable.

Tout était parfait, Dominique et sa maman étaient d’une gentillesse extrême, toujours aux petits soins pour nous. Le dîner et les petits déjeuner étaient délicieux. La vue du logement incroyable, et la proximité avec la randonnée pour la muraille non restaurée est une chance. Le logement est confortable, je recommande cet endroit à 10000%. Absolutely amazing stay. Room was spacious and clean. Bed large and comfortable. Mickey is the perfect host! Super helpful. Picked us up from the base of the great wall for check in and then took us up in the morning helping with tickets!! The breakfast was amazing. The best one we had on our trip. The coffee was so good!! Would happily stay here again. Nice and close to the wall so very convenient. Highly recommend.
