The location couldn't be more perfect -- right across from Playa Carrillo -- and Kris and Guillermo are the MOST fabulous hosts. They have created a chic and comfortable oasis in one of the most beautiful parts of Costa Rica. They have thought of every details and go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is wonderful. Think of this as "glamping" with lots of extra bells and whistles and creature comforts. Can't recommend highly enough!

The property is a wonderful modern house in a gated community approx 150m from the beach as the crow flies, a bit longer to walk as you have to go round the roads. But there is parking down by the beach at Hermosa and also at Playa del Coco, another lovely beach nearby. There were some easily portable beach chairs we enjoyed. The property is super clean, beautifully fitted out and has rescued us from a super dirty beach house we had rented. Everyone happier here. There is a well maintained and cleaned communal pool which in the time we didn’t use sadly but we were impressed that someone was cleaning the tiles around the pool .

The property was relatively new and was nice. There were a few final minor details they are completing to put the finishing touches on it. Sonia was a delightful host and made an absolutely fantastic breakfast each morning. I will stay here again when I return.

Offrant une vue sur la ville, l’hébergement Hospedaje Rancho mi Tata comprend une terrasse et un patio, à environ 32 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Parc Sky Adventures Monteverde. This was by far the best experience I have ever had in Costa Rica. I traveled to 15 different locations over 6 months and this host family was the most generous and helpful family I have ever known. They brought me food all the time (fruit, meat, vegetables and snacks) and even gas at one point for my car. They even took me in their Jeep to see a sunset. The facility itself is clean and impeccably maintained. The house has everything you need to cook with. You hear howler monkeys in the trees across the street and chickens next door. The outdoor living area is perfect for larger groups or families. There is a convenience store a short walk away where you can find some basic staples including some meat and vegetables but it is really small (one room) so I would suggest if you come for more than a couple days that you bring groceries with you because the bigger grocery stores are about 20 minutes away. The best part is you are in the country surrounded by farmland. The yard is completely fenced in for dogs. I felt safe with a relative living next door. Highly recommend!
