The cottage was clean, fully equiped, located in really nice place with romantic sceneries and in close location to Koli national park, the sauna was a bit small but still very cozy. Savonlinna is a short drive away, as is the world's largest wooden church. Great base for exploring Finnish nature. Amazing breakfast, including local specialities, freshly made bread, and cooked eggs and sausages. Given that we were the only people staying that night (summer season had not started yet), this was exceptional service. The breakfast room in the farmhouse was very pretty.

You have an inmense piece of land for yourself with direct access to a clean, clear, and calm Finnish lake. The real Finnish experience doesn't get any better than this. I hope I can come back to this place in the future. I can highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit this part of Finland.
