Catherine was an amazing host on arrival, also great communication before arriving, lodge was beautiful decorated and immaculate, very well equipped with everything you would need, bed also comfortable, hot tub is an added bonus great to relax and admire the gorgeous views over this little piece of paradise, kintyre is certainly a beautiful place, we enjoyed our visit to gin distillery and gigha also Westport beach and Southend beach are all definitely worth a visit, also it was lambing time on the farm was lovely to see all the new born lambs.

There is a communal sitting room with tons of information about Scotland. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and are very knowledgeable about Scottish history and area sights. Breakfast is served in a bright dining room overlooking the water with bird feeders attracting local birds to the garden outside. Breakfast choices were extensive and made to order. You are out in the countryside, so I recommend you have a car and the cottage does have free parking. This is the perfect way point in your travels through Scotland.
