The house is a true gem by the lake — simple, yet it has everything you need. There’s hot water in the bathroom, a fridge and stove in the kitchen, plus a coffee maker and, of course, coffee. The location is peaceful and perfect for nature lovers. The highlight of the house is definitely the balcony with a hammock, where you can relax and enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the lake. The host was incredibly kind and helpful — he even helped carry my luggage to the house. Sunrise Lago Atitlán is about a 5–10 minute walk from the San Pablo dock. It’s definitely easier if you’re traveling with a backpack rather than a suitcase, as the path isn’t ideal for wheeled luggage. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature!

Loved the gorgeous view, and quiet neighbourhood that was only walking distance to kayak and SUP rentals, as well as Casa Del Mundo. The host was super helpful and the house keeper did his best to keep our stay comfortable.

This property is simply stunning!! We loved our chalet cabin surrounded by nature. Richard (the host) is the sweetest American guy. He cooked us delicious breakfast at whatever time we wanted and was always available to drive us back and forth to Santiago (closest town across the lake). The rooms are comfortable & cosy. You also have stunning views of 2 volcanoes from Richard’s deck, where you have breakfast.

The holiday home features 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a fridge, a washing machine and 1 bathroom with free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are provided in the holiday home. The accommodation offers a fireplace. The place is absolutely beautiful, and very special. We really enjoyed our time there, watching the sunset or having breakfast with the spectacular view. The home made soap/shampoo were a very nice touch. Jenny and Clemens are very gracious hosts and extremely responsive and helpful. The kitchen was comfortable to cook basic things in. This place is definitely worth the effort and was one of our favorite stays during our trip.
