Tung Chung Ancient Fort, Hau Wong Temple and Ma Wan Chung Fishing Village can all be reached by walk within 20 minutes of the property. The house was in a beautiful natural location. It was about 10 minute walk down a cement path to a village with no cars. The guesthouse was truly an oasis, surrounded by greenery and birds. Both the balcony of my room and the rooftop area gave wonderful views of the surrounding beauty. Terry kept the place impeccably clean and orderly. There was a well equipped kitchen that I used to make breakfast and sometimes a small dinner. Terry was super helpful, providing ideas of places to go and how to get there. His maps of the area and the public transportation were welcome for a solo traveler trying to get around Lantau Island. It was a perfect base to explore the area. I hiked on the trail from the guest house, which was wonderful. And took public transportation to see the big Buddha and the fishing villages. There are some restaurants and a grocery store in the housing complex near the trail to the guesthouse so everything was in walking distance.

Services included amazing seafood restaurants are just down Yung Shue Wan Main Street. (I recommend Little Thai)
