Beautiful traditional Japanese house in a small town in the middle of the mountains. Every house item is crazy cool and beautiful. The owner has thousands of good records and will do a selection for you. Bed are comfortable. The level of attention to every single detail - from lighting to coffee or snacks - is beyond everything I have experienced. My only regret is not to have stayed longer to chat a bit more with Takashi - the music passionate who has the house and the amazing little cafe next door - to get to know him better. For sure a super interesting and lovely host!

There was plenty of space with a large tub bathroom with shower head. It was a great setup for a vacation. A laundromat and family mart (chain convenience store) were down the road, making it very practical to get things you need.

The property is 400 metres from the city centre and 700 metres from Takayama Station. The house is one of the traditional houses in the town. It is extremely comfortable, lovely futon beds, a great shower, separate toilets, air con. We had a memorable stay and I would highly recommend. The owner also let us keep our luggage in the lobby after check out while we went to a cookery class.

The holiday home features family rooms. location from the train station, 1 minute walk. very clean house, lovely owner that greet us in train station with umbrella for the 6 of us. beautiful, old but newly renovated house in the inside. location is great. just at the back alley from the canal where they put the koi. a quiet town compare to Takayama.

JR Hida Furukawa Station is within a 5-minute stroll from the property. Guests will have the entire property to themselves during their stay. Stunning property on a beautiful street of Hida! We arrived at around 6pm and only stayed for 1 evening. Wish we had stayed for an extra night.
