She helped us to find a TukTuk for really early in the morning although there was elections and more important she had some private issues, I hope this was not our last time at Kandy Living Villa & Homestay.

The staff was so attentive and friendly and the golden ice tea on arrival was very tasty. We had both dinner and breakfast at their restaurant and it was delicious. The bungalow was so cozy and we loved the surrounding area with several waterfalls to go swim in, just a short drive away, as well as beautiful hiking! We were the only tourists around and the local people are (as everywhere in Sri Lanka) really helpful and nice. The manager Johan made our stay very special!

Fareed was one the best host we had in Sri Lanka We were supposed to stay one night but extended for 2 more nights. The breakfasts are huge ! The room was clean and spacious He often offers some tea or coffee when you are chilling in the garden, love it He also offered to drop us off at the bus station with his tuktuk for free. A very kind family.

Rejuvenating spa treatments and traditional massages can be enjoyed on site. Airport transfers can be arranged for a small fee. Fabulous little piece of history we stayed in an enormous room Rose. Pristine gardens, infinity pool, that was very cold, but with views to die for... The staff were lovely and very attentive. Breakfast was great we only had dinner once and it was also nice. The bungalows are up in the mountains it's a 20 mins tuk tuk drive down to Kandy. So it's good to plan day trips down and stay the whole day if you don't want to be travelling up and down. Beautiful hotel highly recommended if you don't mind paying a little extra.

Boasting an infinity pool and views of mountain, Royal Mountain Edge, Knuckles is a recently renovated country house situated in Rangala, 30 km from Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We stayed at Royal Mountain Edge from September 13th to 14th, booking a double room. Our experience was truly remarkable. During our short stay, we joined the Kotagaga Waterfall hike, took part in the Garden-to-Kitchen experience, relaxed by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoyed a cozy BBQ night, and ended with a delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. The accommodation is comfortable, though quite basic — but honestly, that’s all you need to connect with the beauty of nature. All essential facilities are available: Wi-Fi, electricity, and hot water. The simplicity of the stay only makes the surrounding mountains feel even more special. If you’re looking for a place where you can slow down, breathe fresh air, and be close to nature, this is the perfect escape. Footnote: Remember to bring cash for your extra expenses.

This holiday home includes 2 bedrooms, a living room and a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dining area, and 1 bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. My wife and I spent two days at Rainbow Villa in Mahiyangana. It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality. We recommend Rainbow Villa as the best place to get accommodation in Mahayanganaya with confidence.
