The location was amazing, right at the edge of the forest. The house was also really idyllic with a beautiful wooden architecture and a porch perfect to drink coffee on. Cooking amenities were a bit lacking, but that was negated by their amazing grill of which we made extensive use. The hostess was also really nice, even though we didn't have a lot of contact, she would still answer fully and on time. All together, this house has exceeded all expectations, and expectations were already high to begin with!

We very much enioyed our stay here. The cottage has a comfy vibe and is equipped with pretty much everything you could possibly need. The outside garden is to die for and there are plenty of spots where you can drink your morning coffee and enjoy the peace and quiet. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and kind. They gave us some really useful recommendations that enhanced our experience as first-time tourits in the Netherlands. Overall, it was truly a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this place!

Unique round houseboat, easy to find, deceptively spacious, perfect for family with teenagers as bedrooms were separated. Ideal for short stay, lovely location. Host was super friendly and offered lots of information. Ample free parking a bonus.

Elles was a wonderful, warm and very responsive host. To connect with her and her husband was always so easy and inspiring, Even just entering the terrain en to be welcomed by them as well as all the lovely animals on the farm made all our tiredness from traveling go away. The home to stay really is a delight, and also very inspiring when it comes to thinking of innovative ways to use materials and to treat the environment in a sustainable way. But above all, this has been a home away from home for us. The perfect place to rest after a long journey, amidst the peace of a "stiltegebied" (silence area) with endless fields stretching out as far as they eye can see. It was extraordinary! This is probably one of the best locations I have chosen on Booking in recent years. Don't worry about it being a windmill. There were 5 of us and we were very comfortably accommodated. Everything you need is here. And I have never slept so well anywhere as here) You will not feel the atmosphere like here anywhere. Amsterdam is wonderful, but when I think of my visit to Holland, the first pleasant memories that come to mind are Mondriaanmolen in Abkaude. By the way, we got to the congress center in Amsterdam faster than our colleagues who settled in Amsterdam itself. Everything was great.
