They recommended great restaurants and offered guidance for booking various activities. Upon our arrival, the host kindly offered us fresh eggs from his chickens, and we made a delicious omelet! It was a thoughtful gesture, especially since we arrived late and didn’t have the energy to go out for dinner. We also appreciated the flexibility of late check-in and early check-out—thank you! A heads-up for future guests: the road leading to the property is quite bumpy, so an SUV is highly recommended. We rented a reliable car from our host, which we used for getting around town. Guests can dine in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which serves African cuisine and also offers vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free options. So much nicer than the photos! The bungalows are very comfy and actually have a lot of light. The gardens are very beautiful. It feels quite authentic. The home-cooked meals are delicious and our host was able to help cater for my partner's vegetarian needs. They also arrange short hikes to waterfalls nearby at a fairly reasonable price.
