The location itself was stunning so calm and peaceful, the perfect place to recharge. One of the highlights was the incredible wine tasting experience, which was truly memorable. The breakfast was also excellent, with great quality and variety. Overall, it was the perfect stay for such a special occasion.

This was by far one of my best stays in Cape Town. Before staying here, I spent 2 nights at a “luxury” hotel, which had absolutely nothing on this cute little cottage. Everything you need is there. The kitchen is very well equipped. I prepared us some lovely meals and there’s a dishwasher. The spacious bathroom has soft, clean towels. The bed gave us a comfortable sleep. The bedding was great and smelled so fresh and clean. The sofa was comfortable too. The location is amazing and you can be at Somerset mall in under 10 minutes. I loved coming back here after a long day of driving and adventure outside. My 3-year-old daughter loved the garden and spent quite a bit of time outside. Elmarie is the type of woman I could’ve spent all day talking to. She kindly provided us with a candle for the table which we used every day for breakfast and dinner. I booked 2 nights and extended to a third which was well received by Gianluca. Thank you both for your kindness during a somewhat difficult time for me. I highly recommend this cottage and hope to be back next year.

The farm and house were stunning. We found it extremely peaceful and relaxing here. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the house had everything we needed and was very clean. Paul and Dwain were very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for us. The property was very secure as it had a high fence all around it. The pool area was lovely. Within a few minutes are many shops and vinyards and very close to Stellenbosch centre. I would highly recommend this property.

We had the most amazing stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated, with everything one would need. Was exceptionally comfortable too. The host was lovely, and the check in process was smooth and seamless. Would definitely recommended! And visit again :)

Tim is a wonderful host and his enthusiasm for people shows through in the details of the property: the cottage was perfectly clean and tidy with all the amenities that make for a perfect stay, whether overnight of for several days. He also gave us plenty of information (out of his restaurant recommendations we picked one and ended up having a memorable dinner at Eleven restaurant in Franschhoek). The cottae is in a very quiet and green setting and has a next-door nature reserve walk. It has the rustic feel of a cottage with all the modern comforts, beautiful kitchen with modern appliances, fire stove, comfortable mattresses, and plenty of pillows. Don't forget to buy one or more jars of their wonderful lemon marmalade.
