The property is a beautifully restored stone building in a quiet mountain village. The owner is a lovely man who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable after a very long drive. We loved having a really well equipped kitchen to prepare dinner and loved being able to eat in the dining room or courtyard garden with our dogs. We’ve stayed in several b&bs in the area over the years but Vilamaroto is the best of them all. Special mention for the wonderful breakfast!

The units are equipped with heating facilities. The place was very cozy, clean and familiar. They make us feel like home, they were very sweet.

You can play table tennis at the country house, and the area is popular for hiking. Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a bicycle rental service and ski storage space are also available on-site. Authentic and clean place in a beautiful village. The owner is very friendly, he even lent us two pairs of raquettes to enjoy a hike in the snow. Great breakfast.

The country house has family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Lovely beautiful compound of rustic—-yet modern—mountain houses. Lush with flowers, songbirds. Amazing views of the valley and the Pyrenees Lluis and Piluca are such warm and welcoming hosts. Dinner cooked by Piluca was delicious—-4 courses and local wine. Breakfast was bountiful with a variety of local cheeses, charcuterie, jams, fruits and butters.
