Gorgeous, eclectic and quirky, 3 words I could use to describe O forno de Catuxa but they wouldn’t do it justice. Very original and beautifully thought out property and grounds. My room was delightful and luxurious in every way. The hosts were super obliging and very friendly, breakfast was lovely, would not hesitate to stay again.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. We had a very pleasant stay, in this beautiful house and very nice welcome by our hosts (a treat of a drink and snack). Breakfast is excellent, and Isobel made us nice sandwich for our day trip. Very helpful in every way to make guests comfortabel in their house.

Located 15 km from Piornedo Village, Casa O´Crego offers accommodation with a patio, as well as an open-air bath and a garden. This country house features a bar. The country house provides quiet street views, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Casa O'Crego is magical! Instead of going out for a day trip on one of our days there, we stayed in their garden that was designed with love. We spent the day reading and writing and enjoying the view and were filled with so much peace that it still lingers with me over 2 months later. On another day the owner took us for a day trip to the nearby town of Piornedo. Staying in Casa O'Crego feels like you've stepped back into history and are living in an ancient hamlet. The owner learned to cook from professional chefs, and it shows! The meals were delicious. The home was designed with such amazing detail that every time I turned around, I was seeing a new detail. Little Celtic symbols could be found all over. We were in Northern Spain for over a month, traveling from east to west and Casa O'Crego was my favorite spot of all! A true hidden treasure!!! The hosts were charming! We had wonderful conversations with the owner, and when we left, we gave her a shell from Corpus Christi, Texas as a parting gift. We walked away with the best memories. It was just a small token of our appreciation for the gift of Casa O'Crego!

Guests at the country house can make the most of yoga classes offered in-house. Guests at Rectoral De Lestedo will be able to enjoy activities in and around Palas de Rei, like hiking. The country house has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Miguel, Julia and Nelson are so helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them. This place was a highlight of our Camino. The food was fantastic too ♥️

Situated in A Pontenova, Complejo Rural Lar de Vies provides accommodation with seating area. This country house features free private parking and a concierge service. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden.

For guests with children, the country house offers a baby safety gate. There is a garden with a barbecue at this property and guests can go cycling and hiking nearby. Nacho is an amazing host. Kind, warm and always accessible. The views are amazing and the garden a wonderful place to relax and have a wine from the nearby wineries.

Guests at the country house can enjoy hiking and walking tours nearby, or make the most of the garden. This is a beautiful property off the main path of the Camino de Santiago. We couldn't find an albergue so grabbed a taxi to sleep here. It was wonderful. Very relaxing atmosphere and the owner was very accommodating. The room was really well decorated and super clean.

Set in Vega de Logares in the Galicia region, Apartamentos rurales Casa Do Cabo features a patio. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The country house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The location, for us was superb! The air was fresh and clean making us feel quite 'alive' at quite a high altitude It is an incredible geological area of deep valleys, with little hamlets dotting the steep slopes. We stayed a week and could have stayed longer! The area provides such good walking, with well marked tracks. Some of the walks are quite challenging, but the flora and bird life make it all quite delightful. The cottage was well appointed and there was plenty of provision for sitting out in shade or sun and for having barbecues.

The place was well cleaned, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Probably the largest bed I ever slept in. The staff was very welcoming and helped us with recommendations on the surrounding area. The nature around the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast was very nice.

Guests at the country house will be able to enjoy activities in and around Lodoso, like hiking. An indoor play area is also available at Casa Roan y Casa Grande, while guests can also relax in the garden. This was by far our favourite of all the places we stayed at on the Camino- it’s off the Camino path but they provide transport from and to the Camino trail; the hotel is family run, and the place is well kept, with large big rooms, the dinner and drink service superb Manuel and his mom and girlfriend were most hospitable, friendly, and helpful!
