Mr Hilal welcomes you in his cool 4x4 Orange Rubicon Jeep at the pick up point and you know you’re going to have a good time! The camp interiors live up to the photos . Everything is spic and span and even though you’re in the middle of the desert you feel right at home! A clear 5 stars! Speaking of stars , we were lucky to have a clear night and had a beautiful Milky Way display at night!

Staying at this hotel felt like living in the beautiful old Oman era. I absolutely loved the authentic design featuring charming details like wooden roofs, lumber beds, stone sinks, magnificent log reception desk and the massive Castle in the middle.
The hospitality was just as impressive. The staff were incredibly polite, and the reception was open 24 hours, making us feel very cared for. The cafe serves high-quality coffee, I particularly loved the Cappuccino and Mocha.
Breakfast was exceptionally tasty with very fast servicel. I highly recommend ordering the Omani tray it was delicious.

Our stay at Koofan Heritage Lodge was one of the highlights of our trip to Oman. It is rare to find a place where history and hospitality meet so perfectly. This 150-year-old house has been lovingly restored, preserving the authentic Omani culture and architecture while providing a unique hotel experience. This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids.
The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful.
There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry.
We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

Highly recommended Hotel. Confortable, clean modern rooms, kind staff. Good location, specially to reach by car other parts of the city (or even to arrive/leave Muscat without many traffic). I even arrived directly from the airport by bus plus 18/20 minutes walking (taking bus 8 till Al Khuwair souq stop).
