Our expectations were clearly exceeded. We truly appreciated the authentic feel of the small camp—both in size and style—and were impressed by how comfortable the entire stay was, including a great room, delicious dinner and breakfast, and more. The host was also very friendly, helpful, and communicative, and even organized a sunset camel tour for us.

Clean and friendly staff, the night sky was incredible! We could see the whole milkyway! Wow! Great location!

We loved our stay here, and everything about it was perfect. You can book the camel ride for the morning around 9/10am - it was 20 Riyal each for an hour (even on the day your checking out it works out fine) we also did the sunset dune bashing which was 100% worth it. It was 25 Riyal for an hour. Both activities were hosted amazingly, and they pick you up from outside your accommodation. The dinner and breakfast were also nice, and again served at your own private room. You don't need a 4x4 I used a Toyota Corolla. Just follow the path they share with you. I would 100% book this again

Aurora Camp was a truly wonderful experience! The organization was excellent, the activities were fun and varied, and the staff was helpful and attentive to all participants. I had a great time and would definitely recommend the camp.

**At this place we stepped into an Arabian fairytale!** The host gave us the warmest **traditional Arabic welcome** with **dates and coffee**. He was incredibly kind—driving us around the city in his own car, showing us the sights, and sharing Omani hospitality at its finest. But the surprises didn’t stop there! He invited us into his home, introduced us to his family, and his wife adorned our hands with delicate **paint tattoos (henna)**. Throughout our stay, he took such good care of us—helping plan our trips, sharing stories of local life, and making us feel like honored guests. The hotel itself was a dream: immaculate, cozy, and luxurious, with a sunlit courtyard blooming with fragrant flowers. Thanks to them, I didn’t just leave with memories—I left with **friends in Oman**. A thousand thanks for making our journey so magical! We’ll be back!

The camp is very nice. The location in the middle of desert. Bader was an excellent host. He took us in a nice experience crossing the sand and rode camels. The breakfast was delicious and we ordered dinner and his mother cooked it and it was very delicious. The atmosphere in the camp is family and comfortable. The room is clean and comfy.

A magical place. At night, they even provide mattresses you can take outside to lie under the stars – such a beautiful experience. The staff were amazing – always smiling and kind. We had a great dinner, thoughtfully wrapped in foil to keep any sand out of our plates.

Very good location in top of the dunes. Perfect for enjoying the desert sunset and sunrise. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Drinking evening tea with the host and the other guests in a Bedouin tent was really an unforgettable experience

Its an awesome hotel to stay at, it was not only the facilities, that were clean, comfortable and modern but also it was the whole experience and atmosphere, also the hospitality and kindness of the owner was amazing.

The room was beautiful and super comfortable, with everything we needed. We received such a warm welcome; we honestly felt more at home than in a hotel. Communication was great, and the breakfast was spectacular. For the price, I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. In terms of value for money, I’d say it’s the best option in Muscat. It’s also close to most main attractions
