Boutique Hotels in El Tarter

Normally, Booking.com does me a dirty when booking places. I booked one night here and ended up staying for five. Upon my arrival I was met by staff and offered bag carrying. There is free parking out front ( snow brush and ice scraper available) or for 11 euros per night there is a garage. I had two dogs with me who slept in the vehicle, this was not an issue as all rooms are not road facing, if they had barked it would not have disturbed anyone. Just a two minute walk up the road is a trail to the river and park. Elleven minutes drive is Ordino Arcalis ski resort ( also free parking). My room had a heated floor, verypowerful shower that maintained a constant temperature always, big double bed, large TV with all apps, USB and plug sockets each side of the bed. Room has a fridge. The hotel's wifi is fast with a strong connection. Plenty of very nice towels, robes also at no additional charge ( makes a nice change). The room has a thermostat which has very little lag on bringing the temperature up or down, impressive in a large room. The cleaner is exceptionally thorough and the room was turned out beautifully every day even down to mopping the floors. The staff are totally on point, super helpful and accommodating. They arranged the veterinary appointment for my dogs travel back to UK at no extra charge also. My medical conditions ( allergies) were taken into consideration and my room allocated away from the restaurant ( note I did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment outside of breakfast). My room had a lovelly balcony with views down the valley and of the river cascading down the rocks. The Spa: I used this twice. Once it was busy and quite noisy and another time I had the place to myself which was Bliss. The Spa was an additional fee for 90minute session. The hot stone beds being my favourite. I spent an hour on one ( there are four) listening to audio books.

Great friendly staff, very helpful. Two rooms were ready much earlier, on our arrival , best ever slope views everywhere from the hotel: rooms, Glassbar , spa. The spa is amazing

Everything! Still one of my favourite hotels. Great food and cocktails also. Location in the centre of all the ski lifts.

Food, design, the ski logistics

The breakfast was great, the SPA was also really nice for being included in the price of the stay. The room was very spacious and the bed really confy. Great stay overall.

Top breakfast, super dinner with a lot of variety, incredible friendly staff, superb rooms with a bathroom equipped with a shower and a bad tub. All the facilities are super, very handy man ski lockers, and the location cannot be better. Surely we will visit this hotel again. All of us (4 pax) had a super nice experience.

The hotel is located in the city centre, 5-7 minutes walk from the bus station. The room is large, bright, overlooking the river. The breakfast is tasty, with a good choice.

Really handy for town center. Beautifully kept. Very nice staff.
