THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. One of the best customer service ever seen. We noted that we are arriving with our dog. The owner asked us how big the dog is. When we arrived there was a made doggy bed in our room together with two bowls and even doggy treats. Really kind. Recommend

On the pricier side for no breakfast provided, but the facilities and design of the place are really lovely - and there is a well-equiped communal kitchen with a great selection of free teas and coffees. And the location is incredible, 100m from the train/bus station and a super short walk into town. And yoga mats! (and space to do it). We really enjoyed our stay here, it felt like a treat.

- very nice interior design as a part of city´s history - convenient location near the city centre, just a few minute´s walk - you can park your car right in the hotel´s garden, which is very positive as there are not many parking possibilities in the town otherwise
