Staff were friendly, attentive and efficient...very welcoming. View from the room was INCREDIBLE! We saw sea otters numerous times as well as a variety of sea birds. Room was a good size and well-maintained. Breakfast each day had an excellent selection and was fresh and regularly replenished. Could not fault hospitality team...wonderful.

Everything was perfect! The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and copious. The hotel has a lot of charm, especially with the log fire in the living room. Great views over Valparaiso from the rooftop terrace.

A marvellous hotel. Such character. Brilliant location and the balcony room we had couldn't be better positioned – wonderful to hear the street Opera and to see the Pacific in the harbour. Beautiful period property in a perfect location. Definitely choose a room with sea view if possible. 3 different level terraces amid gorgeous gardens to relax on and drink in the view. Room very comfortable. Honesty bar is a nice touch.
