Not really sure where to start. One of the nicest B&B style hotels I’ve stayed anywhere in the world. Staff go above and beyond everyday and the ambience of the place is so relaxing it’s hard to stay standing. It’s just off the Main Street in the quieter of the “old towns” Shuhe, but it’s so quiet you wouldn’t even know it’s there. Beautiful surrounds and convenient to literally everywhere. Literally, just stay here: way more personal than any of the bigger hotels in the area I’m sure.

Making the traditional modern, the luxurious InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort presents beautiful Nakhi courtyard architecture, surrounded by lush greenery.

The staff's service mind is extremely high. We were fortunate to meet Ms. Julie who was both kind and helpful in meeting our requests. Most of all, she even send our forgotten personal cosmetics and toiletries back to us. It's truly beyond the call duty. Definitely 11 out of 10.
