A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I was welcomed very warmly and stayed on the top floor beautiful room. Dinner I had at the hotel was extraordinarily outstanding with good services. Break was also very well prepared, so I enjoyed a lot. I will definitely visit again.

Wonderful helpful staff- welcoming receptionist . Really excellent food. Normally I don’t expect much from hotel food but lunch and dinner were beautifully presented and had great flavour. We didn’t have breakfast. There aren’t any restaurant or cafe options within walking distance.
