The Olive Branch was a great find on our road trip down the Devon coast to Cornwall. Our host Jo was so welcoming and provides everything you could ask for to make a perfect stay. The location is in the perfect spot to enjoy walks to the harbour and promenade as well as the local pubs and restaurants. Our room was spacious very clean, and the decor was very inviting. I loved the comfy seat at the window that offers a view to the sea, but my favourite was definitely bath tub that sits on a platform in the room. Breakfast was excellent, we had a choice of a cook to order hot dish which is served with buffet style continental options. Jo took the time to chat and gave us lots of tips for exploring Ilfracombe and the surrounding areas which was very helpful to two Australians who had not been in the area before . Amazing breakfast! Paula and Adam are the best hosts I’ve come across. Friendly, knowledgeable, trying to make your stay as good as possible without being overbearing in any way. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed at.

Home away from home. We had a lovely stay here, and especially loved having breakfast in the garden. So peaceful and such a lovely view. Thank you!
