The food is quite appropriate for a 4-star hotel. It was tasty, the choice of food was not very large but quite sufficient, and the dishes changed every day. There were also always vegan options and traditional dishes available. The staff were very friendly. They responded quickly to messages in the booking chat. There is a place to store your luggage. You can arrange for early check-in or late check-out. The rooms are cleaned daily and have air conditioner. It takes 10 minutes to get to the airport. We paid €25 for a transfer for two people. There are 4 swimming pools on the territory. We used them after 11 am. as the water was slightly cold in the early morning (when the daily air temperature fluctuated from +25 to +28). It may be a little difficult to find free sun beds at lunchtime, but it is usually possible. The hotel area is nice and clean, and there are locations to take beautiful photos. The beach is very close, maybe a minute to walk. What you should know about the beach is that the seabed is one single large rock. In windy weather, it is quite difficult to get into the water. Moving to the right along the beach, you can find a small pier and use it to get in. Sun beds on the beach are free if you order something at the cafe/bar nearby. If you only need a sun bed, do not agree if the cafe has a minimum order price or purchasing lunch is required. You can easily find something cheaper or just lie down on a towel on the sand. There is also public transport to Fira each 20 minutes (in 2025 it costs 2 euro per person, cash only). It takes 10 minutes on foot to get to the bus station and 20 more minutes by bus to get Fira. The staff at the reseption can explain it in more detail

The hotel was in a perfect location only a 6 minute walk to the sea front where there were lots of restaurants and bars. If you went a bit back from the front there were also lots of restaurants we didn’t have time to visit them all. Breakfast was lovely 😋 it was the same every day but that didn’t bother us as we didn’t over indulge. The lady at breakfast was very pleasant always said good morning. I didn’t catch her name but she was lovely 😁 Our room was lovely we had room 204 which over looked the pool, the shower was really good to which is always a bonus. The room was cleaned every day with clean towels every day to and we were also provided with towels for the pool which could be changed as and when you wanted. The pool area was really nice to lovely and clean and the bar was open from 11am until 6pm you could also have lunch there the menu was really nice to. The sunbeds were all big double ones and very comfortable. The pool was lovely but a bit cold but once you were in it was fine there were also big bean bags that you could lie on in the pool never seen them before but great 😁 Anna on reception was amazing 🤩 what a lovely lady, she greeted us every morning with a smile and a good morning and always asked how we were which was so nice, she also sorted out taxis for us and meal reservations and got us the best table as one meal was my birthday 🎂 Nothing was to much trouble for her 😁 she gave us a couple of maps one of the island and one for the resort she told us the best place to go and best restaurant to eat to and none of it let us down. Thankyou Anna you were just brilliant 🤩 Hope to see you next year 😁 Also Veronica was on reception in the afternoon/ evening and was also such a pleasant young lady. She also helped us if we needed it. So overall we had a wonderful stay at 28 Hotel 😁😁

I loved everything!, from the facilities and view (including my private plunge pool overlooking the Caldera), to the lovely and responsive staff (who also helped us plan our itinerary and made arrangements prior to our arrival, shout to the receptionist Kate!), to the amazing food (even packed breakfast for us when we had to leave very early for the airport on the day of departure), to the relaxing spa session, and down to the lovely ambience of the place! It was definitely worth the price and would highly recommend this 5-star hotel to others!
