This is a friendly family-run hotel in a quiet street in Cannobio. The man who runs it couldnt speak much English but nonetheless he made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was good , our room was quiet at night and the location was excellent as it was only a few minutes walk to the main part of town and to the lake. They also serve lovely evening meals.

Nestled in the mountains, directly on the Piedmontese shores of Lake Maggiore, Albergo Del Lago offers panoramic views.

Very cosy sitting area with kitchen area. Delightful small balcony off the bedroom overlooking a garden. Minutes from the lake in the historic part of the town.

The hotel is centrally located on the lakeside promenade and has a splendid view of the magnificent surrounding alpine and lake scenery.

Arriving in nothing short of a monsoon - the staff were superb in getting us into the hotel with all our luggage and then taking our car to park in their garage. They happily provided us with a lovely meal in our room. Breakfast was excellent - room was lovely with a view right across the lake. Just could not have asked for a nicer stay and will hopefully return

All staff were incredibly service-minded and helped us with everything from changing rooms to vegan breakfast options and the housekeepers had great attention to detail. The table of snacks in the lobby and the free coffee in the room was much appreciated throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the balconies was amazing. The rooms were sound proofed so we did not notice the noise from the street or other guests.

We had a beautiful room at the Palazzo overlooking Lake Maggiore. The design of the whole hotel was fabulous and everything we ate - breakfast, dinner, snacks - were all amazing. Expensive but worth it!

Hotel Regina Palace is a majestic Art Nouveau building offering refined classic-style interiors and a large garden with pool. It is right on the shore of Lake Maggiore, in Stresa.
