Beautiful little gem in a great location no 5 walking minutes from Lido S.M.E.! Even though it was renovated only recently, it fully kept it's 19th century charme. The rooms (and especially the showers :-)) weren't the biggest as you would expect from a mansion that has been converted to a hotel, but don't let that scare you as this hotel has something that no other one has: a view over northern Lido from a small tower-lile structure up on the building that is freely accesible from where you can also see the main islands! Plus the staff and owners were amazingly friendly: I asked them if we could have a birthday cake for one of our daughter's 9th birthday the day before her birthday and they baked a full-flegded cake in the shape of the number 9 just a day after! :-O We were all pretty amazed to say the least! So long story short: highly recommended for a stay in Venice away from the crowded main islands! Thanks again for your hospitality, hope to see you again soon! :-)

Beautiful characterful property, gorgeous gardens and the staff could have not been more helpful and professional. Breakfast was great and it was like staying in a little haven. Air conditioning was most appreciated which is not always possible in such a historic building.

We stayed in the completely refurbished room number 1 which was wonderful: great view onto the square and the restaurants. We just needed to walk out of the front door to be in the middle of it all. Great location and all the sites are easy to reach by foot. Very friendly and helpful staff. From the carpark at Piazzale Roma, we took the water taxi linea 2 which took us via the Canale Grande to the stop "Accademia". From there, it is about 1-2 minutes on foot to reach the hotel. All very easy.

Near rail station only 10min walk in a quiet and lovely neighbourhood. Like the vintage decoration of the hotel, check-in was smooth, good service right from the moment we booked the hotel, we exchanged messages and the information provided was clear. The breakfast service was the best. We enjoyed the buffet service so much. The tea lady served us endless coffees and always with a smile. I will definitely go back to this hotel if I visit Venice again.
